Maryanne T. Ibach

Maryanne joined Jim at MetLife in 1989 while concurrently serving as a Nurse Corps Officer in the United States Navy Reserve from which she retired in 1995 having the honor of becoming the first woman promoted to flag rank.  Maryanne's professional designations include CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) professional, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Certification for Long Term Care (CLTC®), and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®). 

At MetLife she was able to combine her background in nursing and gerontology with the advent of long term care planning as an area of specialization.  In addition, she developed and taught beginning and advanced courses on long term care for two professional associations in Northern Virginia.  Upon her transition to MassMutual Capitol District in 2016, Maryanne focused on assisting families to meet the daunting challenges associated with living longer, dealing with the aging process, and the planning issues for long term care.

She is active in her church and community.  As the mother of four and grandmother of ten, her family is a source of great joy.
